Over 40 years ago, Tyson’s family made the decision to become a custom home builder in a small South Louisiana town. With low barriers to entry, the family forged ahead with establishing the company and brand. Few challenges and struggles were faced early on (unlike with most businesses), but hard work and determination prevailed. In the beginning, various construction trades were outsourced. As the business continued to grow in the local area, opportunities presented themselves to bring all construction trades in house. In doing so, marketing efforts and new business expanded outside the small town and into larger neighboring cities. Today, the business has grown into one of the prominent residential and commercial construction companies in South Louisiana.
Growing up with a family who owns a residential and commercial construction company granted Tyson the ability to build his foundation in the real estate industry. After attaining his degrees, Tyson began his career as a residential mortgage lender in Houston and was consistently recognized as a top producer. Following a successful career in lending, Tyson decided to follow two generations of family real estate tradition that began in 1980. After six years in the industry, Tyson founded The Group, a premier luxury real estate team with Coldwell Banker Global Luxury D’Ann Harper Realtors in San Antonio. He and his team represent affluent clientele from across the globe with residential real estate transactions in Houston, San Antonio, and The Woodlands.
